My results are being calculated and presented to me in an envelope…Ladies and gentleman…All answers are YES! I’ve been a cinephile since seeing my first movie on the bigscreen – E.T. – at the age of 8, and an avid watcher of the Oscars since not long after than. As we count down to this year’s show, I am eagerly awaiting for one thing and one thing only: for Demián Bichir to beat George Clooney and Brad Pitt for Best Actor. Admittedly, the chances are slim, but it would be an incredible Oscar moment. Demián Bichir starred in A Better Life,a powerful drama about a gardener played by Bichir who struggles to keep himself away from immigration agents and his son away from gangs while working hard to give his son the opportunities he never had.

For just one day, all the movie fans like me will turn into TV fans for a day. I may be a lifetime member of the Ultimate Oscar Fan club, but even I still can’t predict who will be next year’s host.
